We all knew Neon White would do Steam top 20 When Valve arrives at this special edition. After the backlash, the gaming industry faced a speed simulator? It was a pretty safe bet.
GamesBeat alumnus Jeff Grubb is there grinding those speed-run times, and if Jeff links anything to a game, you know it’s going to be popular. The People’s Hero is Mike Minotti offers fierce competition though. Someone has to save us from that supervillain (Editor’s note: I’m currently ranked 129th in the world and it’s important for people to know that.).
So it could be me. I could be the hero we need. Just check out these unedited, legal screenshots leaderboards of the first two levels. Check out my nearly unstoppable speed through the two most mechanically simple levels of Neon White.
Be my witness. Witness me and ask no further questions, especially about my time in the rest of the game’s levels.
Anyway.
June’s first 20 isn’t specifically about Neon White. It’s more retro than that. There are some real bangers this month, but to be honest, I can only think of Neon White. Not about the story though. I couldn’t tell you the first thing about what this story is really about.
But in my heart I think about how to do a level perfectly. How should I bleed a few tenths of a second off my best time. How to reach a target that needs bullets without my arm shaking, I miss and have to start over.
