Just a short personal note: For those who don’t know, I’m from Texas. Something unimaginably terrible happened in my house this week, and it affected many of us deeply. I will not say anything more about it, because this is not my story and this is not the right place. But my heart goes out to the people of Uval, especially to the families of the dead.

I left the Disney trailer before I sat down to write this article Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Jedi: Continuation of the Fallen Order. There isn’t much to look at, but that won’t stop the small part of my brain I set aside for Star Wars from making assumptions. At least we know that the BD-1, Star Wars’ favorite new droid (sorry, BB-8) is back with Cal, and it’s worth it, at least for the price of admission.

In other news, the QA team at Raven Software voted for the union. Activision Blizzard must now negotiate with the Game Workers Alliance. I’m curious to see how this interaction is shaken: We’ve never seen anything like it before. We also have a presentation date for Daedalic for September Gollum game, so there’s at least one thing. I also took a look Quarry, Supermassive’s new teen slasher flick game. It seems that Supermassive is finally fully rooted in its sklok film – and that’s a good thing!

In terms of the game, I did something a little different. Nintendo took the first step this week to cut e-stores for the Wii U and 3DS. Although you can still use eShop cards, you can no longer top up your credit card in stores. I still own both consoles and decided to play some Wii U and 3DS games. I’m not going to go too far to say that the Wii U is underestimated or anything like that. But I note that this is the only place to enter many Games I can’t play on Switch or anywhere else. For example, I played Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. Just give me a more classic Fire Emblem on the Nintendo Switch. That’s all I need.
