You may have heard from my colleague before moving on to game news Jeff Grubb He left GamesBeat 10 years later. I will miss him and wish him the best in his future endeavors. In the meantime, all you loyal GamesBeat readers will stay with me! (And Mike and Dean, but mostly me.)
In Game News, we held our first official summer game event this week, Sony’s Play State of Play. As the company promised, it was mostly third-party names and VR games. However, unlike in previous periods, their adherence to their given parameters yielded more results disappointing twaddle, the condition of this game was actually quite good. We have secret views Street fighter 6which seems to emphasize the “street” part of the title and Final Fantasy XVIMike is excited.
I was especially pleased to see the long conversations A remake of Resident Evil 4. Earlier I would say that the reconstruction of the best game of the series was a futile attempt, but I like the new atmosphere. The trailer gives the game a bit more rustic atmosphere, and the fact that Resident Evil 4 has more action than horror is the only nitpic I’ve had with it. We will also fight Lady Dimitrescu in VR, which is either scary or not. . . Another thing.
As a Bioware fan, the announcement of the name of the next Dragon Age this week calmed me down a bit. It will be called Dreadwolf, in terms of knowledge corresponds to what they have sold so far. Now, if I could play the game before my hair turned white, I could see the culmination of that story line. Again, I know there will be two games coming out this year (at least at the time of writing): Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, It will start on November 18; and Stray, a cyberpunk kitty adventure It will start operating on July 19.
