Chinese video game developer MiHoYo is announcing a new game, which is similar to another game. The upcoming computer and mobile title Zenless Zone Zero describes itself as an “urban fantasy action RPG.”

From the description, at least in terms of the game, it is probably safe to compare it to Genshin Impact. Players will form a team of characters called Hollows – strange pocket sizes – to fight monsters called Proxy and adventure.

It’s a place where it’s really imaginative, at least for me. Zenless Zone Zero builds itself in New Eridu, the last stronghold of mankind. This is the post-apocalyptic situation; Strange portals (gaps) the size of pockets full of monsters open everywhere and basically ruin everyone’s day. Civilization is struggling, developing technology to use portals for resources, and that seems to be the best point of the game.

I have seen this explored in many works of art, but the video game scene is relatively new. It is also close to the top of my favorite genres. This announcement excited me as much as Genshin Impact failed.

See. I enjoyed a minute of Genshin Impact. Many people continue to like this special game. The combination of favorite anime characters, smooth play and neat fantasy structure is basically a recipe for printing money.

But I can only play a fantasy game that is not Final Fantasy XIV attention is distracted. What about a city fantasy game? I’m always one of them, and MiHoYo has enough credit with me to be able to jump on both feet.

Zenless Zone Zero currently accepts registrations for a closed beta test. The official release date is still pending.
