Arcus, a network software company and a core infrastructure specialist, said CoreSite used a multi-cloud networking (MCN) solution to enable CoreSite’s Open Cloud Exchange (OCX).
Open cloud sharing is an enterprise networking solution that allows customers to use high-performance hybrid architecture quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively. CoreSite is using the ACE MCN solution to expand its software-defined networking platform by automating additional supply functions within AWS and Microsoft Azure Cloud, and automating direct cloud-to-cloud communication between CoreSite’s fully managed virtual routers.
Arrcus’s ACE MCN solution at CoreSite’s OCX was launched in May 2022 in eight markets: Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay, Denver, Chicago, New York, Boston, Miami and Virginia. Since then, CoreSite has expanded its market reach to two new data centers, Atlanta and Orlando, and is looking to add additional leading cloud services and SaaS providers to OCX in addition to AWS and Microsoft® Azure Cloud.
CoreSite’s Open Cloud Exchange, supported by ACE MCN, allows businesses to:
• Quickly deploy and deploy new applications to many US markets using inter-market connectivity
• Improved network performance and security with guaranteed isolation, bandwidth, and low latency compared to public Internet connections.
• Increased market penetration and more control and choice
• Reimburse expensive payments from the cloud and divert capital and internal resources to other business priorities
Shekar Ayar, CEO and CEO of Arrcus, said: “We are delighted that Arrcus OCX has been selected from CoreSite for its platform.
“Distinguished by the unique strengths of our routing, the ACE MCN solution provides OCX with a high level of reliable performance, shortens market time, provides an improved economy, and gives our customers a competitive advantage.”
The Arrcus ACE MCN solution allows for high-performance, secure workloads and high data access to any cloud, any region, and any site. The solution consists of ArcEdge – secure data plane software, which uses ArcOS and ArcOrchestrator’s unique virtual routing capabilities for cloud-based organization, which automates and shortens the configuration time of many cloud networks from a few hours a day.
The programming capabilities and flexibility of the Arrcus solution allow CoreSite to provide virtual routing services for users in minutes, dramatically increasing agility and efficiency. In today’s digital economy, fast and secure cloud connectivity is essential for businesses to succeed. The Arrcus solution allows CoreSite to provide integrated protection and organization to increase control and market speed. As a result, their customers are able to recoup expensive cloud output fees and divert their assets and internal resources to other business priorities.
Brian Warren, senior vice president of development and product engineering at CoreSite, said: “We use the Arrcus virtual router at CoreSite OCX to quickly expand our market reach to our customers and reduce TCO while gaining competitiveness.
“With just a few clicks on our service delivery platform, MyCoreSite, customers can quickly and automatically provide direct, secure virtual connections to multiple service providers and public cloud networks.”
