Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence arm of Alibaba Group, announced its latest international strategy map at the 2022 Alibaba Cloud Summit.

During the three-day summit, the trusted cloud service provider unveiled new products to support enterprise technology innovation, a $1 billion investment to upgrade the global partner ecosystem, and enhanced customer service to provide end-to-end support throughout the customer’s digitalization journey.

As more enterprises migrate to the cloud and demand for cloud services in hybrid environments increases, Alibaba Cloud has made proven infrastructure products, multi-model cloud databases and distributed cloud services available worldwide. The new product is designed to provide enterprise users with a wide range of cloud services that span networking, storage, and computing.

Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN) 2.0, a newly available network service, creates a global intelligent network that supports the global expansion of enterprises. CEN 2.0 supports ultra-large-scale network capabilities with higher availability, lower latency, improved security capabilities, and pricing flexibility for enterprises than previous versions.

Alibaba Cloud also introduced a storage product called ESSD Auto PL, which provides block storage and supports auto-scaling within seconds to allow businesses to handle sudden spikes in traffic. The world’s leading flexible block storage product with auto-scaling functionality offers up to one million IOPS (input/output operations per second), well above the industry average.

Lindorm, a cloud-based multi-model database developed by Alibaba Cloud, successfully supported Alibaba Group’s 11.11, the world’s largest shopping festival, last year. Designed for the fusion processing requirements of a wide range of spreadsheets, time series, spatio-temporal, and various unstructured data, Lindorm has been supporting customers in many industries in China, including automotive, finance, and manufacturing, with high availability and low storage costs.

Alibaba Cloud also introduced ACK One (Alibaba Cloud Distributed Cloud Container Platform), a multi-region, multi-cluster container management platform to provide enterprises with a consistent management, delivery and operational experience. It enables users to implement container cluster management, resource scheduling, data disaster recovery and software implementation through a unified platform in public cloud, private cloud or on-premise environments. ACK One is the latest addition to Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes. Among eight key industry players evaluated earlier this year, Alibaba Cloud was named a “Leader” for the first time in The Forrester Wave™ Public Cloud Container Platforms Q1 2022.

Finally, to support enterprises’ hybrid cloud application needs, CloudBox integrates Alibaba Cloud’s public cloud infrastructure technologies, such as computing, storage, and networking, to provide enterprises with fully managed cloud services that can be deployed close to customers’ business premises. CloudBox provides an experience as stable as Alibaba Cloud’s public cloud while meeting enterprises’ demand for on-premises data processing and low-latency computing. CloudBox is designed for multinational companies doing business in China.

Alibaba Cloud continues to strengthen its capabilities in computing, storage, networking and security. For example, the recently unveiled Cloud Infrastructure Processing Unit (CIPU), a dedicated processing unit for the Apsara Cloud operating system, can reduce network latency to five microseconds and improve computing power performance for data-intensive AI and data analytics scenarios. up to 30%.

Prioritize partner benefits to create an accessible technology ecosystem

Alibaba Cloud has announced plans to invest US$1 billion over the next three fiscal years to support Alibaba Cloud partners’ technology innovation and market expansion through a renewed strategy for the Cloud ecosystem. This investment consists of financial and non-financial incentives such as financing, rebates and go-to-market initiatives.

To accelerate partners’ growth, Alibaba Cloud also launched a Regional Accelerator program to provide partners operating in different markets with local business collaboration models. The model was developed to increase partners’ revenue and strengthen technical skills within factors such as the market’s level of technical maturity, vertical orientation, digitization needs, and business demand. Alibaba Cloud ecosystem partners, including resellers, technology partners (ISVs, SaaS and SI), service and consulting partners can benefit from the program.

Alibaba Cloud Intelligence International President Selina Yuan said: “Partners have always been a key focus of Alibaba Cloud, and we are committed to providing strong support for their co-development, technological and commercial value-adding, and further empowering our combined customers.”.

“Our renewed partnership strategy prioritizes the growth of our partners. By continuing to support our partners’ business expansion, we can create an inclusive ecosystem that benefits our partners and customers.”

In order to alleviate the difficulties associated with partners’ international business operations, Alibaba Cloud has improved its cooperation model with ISV partners, focused on improving industry cooperation, standardizing the go-to-market process, and accelerating the integration of technical solutions to increase efficiency. Going forward, Alibaba Cloud hopes to hire more financial services, retail, Internet and manufacturing ISVs to co-develop products and support customer innovation.

Alibaba Cloud currently works with nearly 11,000 partners worldwide, including Salesforce, VMware, Fortinet, IBM, and Neo4j.

Provide comprehensive customer support

In order to provide comprehensive cloud-based solutions and services to all customers, Alibaba Cloud launched the “Global Delivery and Service Program” to improve the cloud adoption process for customers. As part of the program, three Customer Service Centers have been opened in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Porto (Portugal) and Mexico City (Mexico) to support customers on their cloud adoption journey and provide timely, regional cloud migration and consulting services.

In addition to customer service centers, Alibaba Cloud has established regional offices in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Hong Kong (Greater China) to provide additional technology support for customer projects and three Service Delivery Centers. Delivery to Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Africa.
